Healing comes from our actions.

Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. ~ James 2:26 ~
When we ask God for healing, we need to make a first step of faith ourselves. We need to place our trust in the Lord, that he will heal us and take a first step with confidence that God will answer us. When Jesus healed the sick, the sick needed to make a step of faith and believe that Jesus will heal them.
The blind man
John 9:1   And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
John 9:6   When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
John 9:7   And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

10 men with lepers
Luke 17:12   And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
Luke 17:13   And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
Luke 17:14   And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
Luke 17:15   And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
Luke 17:16   And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
Luke 17:17   And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
Luke 17:18   There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
Luke 17:19   And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Woman with blood issue.
Luke 8:43   And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
Luke 8:44   Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

Serpent bite and Israelite
Numbers 21:7   Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
Numbers 21:8   And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
Numbers 21:9   And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, he was a leper.
2 Kings 5:1   Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
2 Kings 5:2   And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.
2 Kings 5:3   And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
2 Kings 5:4   And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
2 Kings 5:5   And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment......
2 Kings 5:9   So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
2 Kings 5:10   And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
2 Kings 5:11   But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.
2 Kings 5:12   Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.
2 Kings 5:13   And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?
2 Kings 5:14   Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Our almighty and all powerful God is capable of healing us no matter what our sickness is. But some times He is wants us to make that step of faith. Not only to ask Him in a prayer but also follow through with our actions.
